Step By Step - Purchase Process
Contact Chris Matthey - Discuss your options with Chris and get pre-approved. Lock your rate for 90-120 days.
Provide Documentation - Refer to documentation checklist to see what documents you need to provide.
Select Real Estate Agent - Ask Chris about his trusted and experienced realtors.
Find Your Home - Find what is right for you and make an offer. Make your offer conditional upon financing and a home inspection.
Remove Conditions - Complete Home Inspection. Provide and get approval of remaining documents (income, down payment, etc). Appraisal, if applicable. Review details of your mortgage and sign up with Chris.
Prepare For Your Move - Contact your lawyer to arrange signing of legal documents. Also, packing., packing, packing.
Sign Up at Lawyers Office - Several days before closing meet with lawyer to review mortgage and legal details. Provide cheque for down payment and closing costs.
Get Keys for Home - Congratulations Home Owners!

- Letters of Incorporation (if applicable)
Down Payment
- 3 Months Bank Statements
- Investment Statements
- Gift Letter
Other (if applicable)
- Mortgage Statement(s) – for all properties owned
- Lease Agreements – for rental properties owned
- Confirmation of debts paid
- Void Cheque - for mortgage payments
